Welcome to the official documentation for NaviVortex. This guide will walk you through the advanced features of our 3D flight planning tool.
Start by selecting your aircraft type from the left panel. Whether you are flying an electric quadcopter or a fixed-wing UAV, NaviVortex adjusts its physics engine accordingly. Click anywhere on the 3D map to drop your first waypoint. The system will automatically calculate the distance and True Course (TC) to the next point.
Aviation requires precise calculations. If you are flying in windy conditions, open the 'Wind & Weather' tab. Enter the wind direction and speed. NaviVortex will automatically calculate your Wind Correction Angle (WCA), adjusted Heading (HDG), and your actual Ground Speed (GS). This is crucial for accurate battery and fuel burn estimates.
For surveying or Search and Rescue (SAR) operations, use our Smart Tools. Draw a polygon over your target area, input your desired altitude and leg spacing, and click 'Generate'. The system will create an optimized sweeping pattern ensuring full coverage of the area.
Once your mission is ready, you don't need to re-enter it manually. Go to Mission Actions and click 'Export CSV'. This file is formatted perfectly for the Litchi Mission Hub. Simply import it, sync with your drone, and fly safely.
